Most clients enjoy smooth results for four to six weeks. Individual hair cycles affect timing; regular waxing often leads to finer, sparser regrowth. Plan maintenance appointments every 4–6 weeks to maintain consistent, long-lasting results.

Sensitivity varies, but discomfort is usually brief and manageable. Our technicians use expert technique, quality wax, and calming aftercare to reduce pain. Communicate with your esthetician for breathing tips and position adjustments to improve comfort.

Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before and arrive with clean, dry skin. Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, or sunburns for several days prior. If needed, trim hair to about 1/4 inch; do not shave right before your appointment.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (6 mm) long for effective removal. If hair is longer, trimming beforehand is fine. Hair too short may not grip the wax, reducing effectiveness and requiring regrowth before waxing.

Many pregnant clients safely receive waxing, but sensitivity can increase and blood flow changes may heighten discomfort. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider and informing your technician; some prefer to wait until after the first trimester.

Avoid hot baths, heavy exercise, saunas, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe to soothe. Exfoliate lightly after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and book follow-ups as recommended.
