Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on hair growth rate and individual cycles. Regular appointments can lengthen time between sessions as hair regrowth softens.

Some discomfort is normal but brief. To minimize pain, avoid caffeine beforehand, arrive with clean, dry skin, breathe deeply during treatment, and consider a topical numbing product if particularly sensitive.

For best results hair should be about 1/4 inch long, roughly two weeks of growth. Too short hair won’t grip the wax properly; too long can increase discomfort.

Avoid hot baths, intense exercise, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended products, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and use SPF if area will see sun exposure.

Ingrown hairs can occur but are reduced by proper exfoliation, moisturizing, and regular waxing. Use a gentle scrub or chemical exfoliant after the initial 48-hour window to prevent trapped hairs.

Avoid waxing if you are on certain acne or retinoid medications, have sunburn, open wounds, or active skin conditions. Pregnant clients or those with medical concerns should consult their provider first.
